Year 5/6 Open Cricket – County Finals

Last Monday Ecton Brook went to the Northampton County Cricket ground to participate in the Schools County Finals cricket.

The standards were high and all of the schools played outstanding cricket.  The bowling, batting, wicket keeping and fielding made us feel we were watching The Ashes.

As usual a real pleasure to watch as their skill levels increased, their understanding for the game grew and the teamwork and determination flourished.

Congratulations to the winners, Ecton Brook placed 5th, well done on getting to the county finals.
