Yr5/6 Girls Cricket – ON’s Cricket Club

On Wednesday morning the Year 5/6 girls went to the Old Northamptonians Cricket Club to play their first competitive cricket match.  The weather was perfect sunshine.

The cricket club set up skills stations for them to practice on before they played their fixtures.

All of the other schools were strong  and we watched some great cricket, great catching and some hard hitting for 6.

We came 3rd and the girls will be presented with their medals next week.

Brilliant team work and encouragement towards each other throughout all the games, well done.
