Football – Year 5 girls – Ecton Brook

Thursday after school was the turn for the year 5 girls to play their football match against each other (class v class).

The whispers in the changing room was encouraging, ‘I’m excited’, ‘I will try harder than last time’, ‘I think I might have a turn in goal’. So with these comments in mind I knew we were going to have a great game.

What a match.  So many near misses, so many brilliant saves by the goal keepers and so much enjoyment, determination and self belief from the girls throughout the game it was a pleasure to watch.

More after school sporting activities will be taking place this term.
