Residential Week at Longtown

What a week it was! We were blown away by the bravery and ‘can do’ attitude that all the children had.  The extreme sporting activities that the children experienced were excellent and opportunities that they may never have again.

We went mountain walking, caving, gorge walking, climbing, high ropes, low ropes, we played games in the evening after dinner and we sat around a camp fire, phew! We were busy.

As teachers, it was wonderful to see how the children worked as a team, how they helped and encouraged each other to complete the challenges and the bonds and connections that grew were incredible.

All in all a fantastic week at Longtown.
