Year 5/6 Open Cricket – ON’s Cricket Club

What a sheer delight this morning.  The high standard of cricket between the Year 5/6 pupils was outstanding.

There was 4’s, there were 6’s being hit, players were being bowled out, caught out, run out it was exciting.  Each school came to represent and represent they did, as a spectator you were clapping, gasping, silent then shouting as a 6 was hit.

Well done to every school that participated this morning and well done to Ecton Brook who came 2nd in this mornings event.

It was also really nice to see an ex pupil as one of the Young Leaders for our cricket game.
