Year 6 had a great evening in the sunshine to celebrate their final year at primary school. They munched their way through a pile of pizzas, danced around the hall and ended the festivities with a water fight in the woods (soaking most of the staff in the process). Each child then received a very personal certificate , which Mr. Whitfield presented remotely.
We wish to say a large thankyou to all the parents who have supported us throughout the years and wish their children the best of luck as they move to their new schools. It would be really lovely if they could keep in touch and let us know how they getting on. They have all worked incredibly hard this year, given all of the disruptions caused by the Covid restrictions but have grown into resilient individuals and we feel they are now fully prepared for the exciting opportunities secondary school will bring. Have a well earned rest over the summer.
Here are some of the photographs taken from the ‘Shorts and Shades’ celebrations. Enjoy!
