Hi year 6, Happy Easter! Hope that you are all well and eating lots of chocolate. Mr Whitfield, Mrs Wild and Mrs Willetts are really missing you all and hope to see you all at school soon. We are posting these activities for next weeks homework to keep you busy. Remember, it is better to do a little bit of work each day than trying to complete it all at once. Make sure you keep up with your reading and try to find different things to read such as web pages, magazines and comics.
Homework set on SATS Companion.
Please complete the following work which has been set on SATS companion.
- Maths – Fractions and Decimals
- Grammar – Punctuation for Parenthesis
Here is the English homework.
Use the Virtual Reading Library
We have been very fortunate and now have access to Scholastic Reading Library online allowing you to access lots of different books on their website. We would like you to try hard to login to this at least three times in the week. We have sent an email of instructions to your grown ups and they can also read about it here.
In addition, we would like to encourage you to continue reading your own books everyday. Remember: information books count as reading too!
There is a reading, writing and grammar task for you.
Use the White Rose Website by watching the Video and then complete the activity in your maths books. There is a lesson for each day.
