We are starting with week 1 which starts with decimals up to 2dp. There is a video and activity for each day. Remember to using jottings to help you. They also have the answers so you can check work at the end.

We have been very fortunate and now have access to Scholastic Reading Library online allowing you to access lots of different books on their website. We would like you to try hard to login to this at least three times in the week. We have sent an email of instructions to your grown ups and they can also read about it here.
In SATS Companion, we have set English work based on an area that the year group need to do some work on and that is ‘tense’. Writing in the correct tense and making sure that the verb in your writing is the correct form for the tense you are writing in. For example…
If you went for a run round the park yesterday, your sentence would read:
Yesterday I ran round the park.
Yesterday I run round the park.

In maths, we are looking at decimal numbers. We will be ordering and rounding decimals as well as beginning to look at simple decimal to fraction equivalents.

Have fun and make sure you use some really high level vocabulary to draw in and hook your reader. Work on those IPSACE openers and expanded noun phrases. Remember to add lots of detailed description for your readers.

For an extra challenge, why not write your own blurb for another story you have written or your favourite reading book. You could even try to write a sequel for this story!
