A ‘Marvellous’ Tribute to a ‘Marvellous’ Teacher

Spread the love

Yesterday Bellinge Campus paid tribute to Mr Watson a year after his passing.

To remember him Mr Watson’s wife and children unveiled a placard and a running track in his honour.

Whilst the Brass Band played staff, pupils and parents past and present attended in their 100’s.

Both Head Teachers Mrs Archer and Mr Woods gave speeches and a toast for this momentous occasion.

After the countdown and the track officially opened everyone walked a lap of the track in memory of a ‘marvellous’ man.

The Watson Way is now a permanent feature and will be used for many years to come encouraging children and staff to keep active and get fit, a very fitting tribute for the best PE teacher.
