Last week the children in Year 2 travelled to the Sea Life Centre in Birmingham and despite a little traffic on the way we arrived eager and excited to get started.
The children loved exploring the various tanks and exhibits around the centre. The highlights of there trip seemed to be getting to touch a real starfish, seeing majestic sharks, cute clownfish and hilarious penguins as well as giant turtles. They also immensely enjoyed the amazing and surprising 4D cinema where they used their 3D glasses to enjoy a fun film about a fish adventure. What the children weren’t expecting was for the seats to vibrate, bubbles to fall from the ceiling and for water to be squirted at them.
Most of all the children were overwhelmed by the stunning walk through tunnel where they could see sea creatures on all sides. Some children were even lucky enough to listen to one of the Sea Life Centre experts who told them lots of interesting facts about the animals.
